An exciting opportunity exists for passionate, motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician to join the Miele team in New Zealand at the Wellington location on a permanent, full time capacity!
Equipped with tools of trade provided by us, this crucial role involves getting out on the road in the red Miele van to visit our customers for service calls. Our Technicians bring a wealth of technical skills to the table and thrive on providing the best possible service to our customers. As a Service Technician, you will be the face of the brand for many of our loyal customers - and you'll be ready to work on a range of quality Miele appliances from new through to 10, 20, 30+ years old!

Job responsibilities will include: - Carrying out quality field service repairs at the customer's premises, and occasionally in our Wellington workshop
- Ensuring a positive customer experience at all times
- Accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork and service invoices
- Management of van stock
- Handling and resolving customer complaints in the field within company guidelines
- Providing exceptional customer service!
Requirements of the role include: - Great attitude with a friendly, professional and positive demeanour)
- Current and valid full driver's licence
- Sound technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault finding through effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to squat, kneel and twist frequently
- Ability to push and pull varying weights
Our ideal candidate will: - Be a team player with the ability to ask for, and provide, direction when needed
- Have a gas, refrigeration, household appliance or white goods background (advantageous but not required as we provide extensive product training)
- Be able to drive to varying locations around New Zealand
- Work with set organisational targets (KPIs)
- Genuinely enjoy meeting and interacting with customers
- Embrace changing technology and work efficiencies
