As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, enhancing, and maintaining our end user solutions across multiple modern platforms for all NZ computer technologies. As part of this role, you will also support with project initiatives across the financial year.

What you’ll do: 

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management, business, and technical staff regarding technology solutions and deployments.
  • Implement and maintain EUC platforms and associated services and devices.  
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for managing and using End user compute platform. 
  • Implement and test technology solutions and services in accordance with predefined SLAs, OLAs, project plans, and POWs. 
  • Ensure adherence to Configuration, Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes, as well as all other IT Service Management practices.   
  • Maintain and manage technology infrastructure to ensure a stable and reliable environment for business operations. 
  • Identify and prevent recurring support issues. Provide prompt support to resolve technology-related incidents and service requests. 
  • Provide support to resolve technology-related incidents and Service Requests.   
  • Offer proactive technical guidance and mentoring to team members.   
  • Understand our customers' needs and build strong relationships by matching the right solutions to each customer’s requirements. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Must hold ITIL Certification (version 4 or 5). 
  • Proven experience in a Level 2 support role within an IT environment. 
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Microsoft cloud services, and Cisco technologies. 
  • Basic understanding of Citrix is highly regarded.
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira. 
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting EUC related issues.  
  • Experience delivering EUC related projects. 
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
