Dental Assistant/Receptionist – South Auckland

About the role:

Join The Fono as a Dental Assistant and become an integral part of our team dedicated to providing Pacific-centred care!

In this part-time Saturday role, based at our Manurewa clinic, you will:

·        Support clinical care chairside.

·        Manage appointments and payments.

·        Welcome and care for patients.

·        Uphold high infection control standards.

You will also assist at our Saturday mobile unit events, held once per month.  As the mobile unit travels to different community locations, a full driver's licence and reliable transport are required.

About you:

You enjoy variety, are flexible and reliable, and are ready to step up when needed.  You bring a positive attitude, a team-first mindset and a genuine desire to make a difference.  To thrive in this role, you will have:

• At least 12 months or more experience as a Dental Assistant.

• Current NZDA in Dental Assisting – being completed or willing to be completed.

• A strong work ethic and a supportive approach to teamwork.

• A desire to build a stable, long-term career.

• Proven skills in delivering excellent customer service.

• The ability to speak a Pacific language is advantageous and highly valued in helping us connect with the communities we serve.
