About the role
Are you a passionate General Practitioner eager to make a meaningful difference? We are on the lookout for two full-time GPs to join our Manurewa Clinic. We are seeking individuals who truly understand Pacific health, thrive in a culturally vibrant setting, and are committed to providing care that empowers our Pacific whānau. You will be joining a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that is passionate about making a real difference every day.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide comprehensive, culturally safe primary healthcare for patients of all ages, managing everything from diagnosis to ongoing treatment.

  • Approach healthcare through a Pacific lens, respecting cultural values and traditions in every consultation.

  • Collaborate closely with a passionate, multidisciplinary team to deliver wraparound holistic care that addresses both health and social needs.

  • Actively reduce health and social inequalities for whānau.

  • Stay up-to-date and engaged with best practices and Pacific health research to guide your approach.

  • Keep accurate, timely patient records in line with clinical standards.

  • Contribute to regular team meetings, peer support sessions and professional development activities.

What we're looking for

  • Full registration with the Medical Council of NZ and a current Annual Practising Certificate.

  • Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a primary health or community setting.

  • Strong clinical skills paired with a genuine commitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive care.

  • Excellent communication skills with a deep respect and connection to Pacific cultures (Pacific language fluency is advantageous!)

  • Experience managing diverse caseloads and working in multidisciplinary teams.
