This new phase of ownership under Florenz brings a concentrated focus to position the Wedderspoon brand for growth, primarily on digital channels and in retail stores, where we hold tremendous shelf space in over 70,000 points of distribution. 

The Role

The position of Night Shift Supervisor / Cleaning Supervisor is to effectively maximise product packing and factory cleaning.  The role involves ensuring that timelines are met, quality is adhered to, instructions are followed, and cleaning is completed and signed off as per daily schedules.  This role is 4.00pm to 12.30am at $29.00 per hour with a $2.00 per hour night shift allowance applicable when working on the night shift. The role of Night Shift Supervisor/Cleaning Supervisor is recognised as pivotal within the business. As the Night Shift Supervisor, you will:

• Contribution to the ongoing quality control of Wedderspoon. Through ensuring food safety standards, machinery operation, high cleaning standards, actioning of non-conformances as per process, and complete checks on goods.

• Ensure that other Process Staff are adhering to and completing tasks and duties in a timely manner.

• Assist in training staff in the use of machinery, cleaning, and any other process tasks as expected for them to complete their duties.

• Report daily to both the Factory manager/Operations Manager

• To monitor the overall flow of the production line by detecting problems and liaising with the factory manager/operations manager as they occur.

• To ensure that all checks are done and facilities are alarmed and locked prior to leaving.

• Clean machinery and work areas as per instructions of the daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

• Be responsible for the team on the same shift and ensure the safety of all members when leaving work and in emergency situations.

About You

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that:

• Holds a first aid certificate

• Trained warden

• Prior experience in leading a team/shift independently

• Skilled in verbal and written communication with ability to work with a variety of different backgrounds

• Have a high level of motivation and ability to work without supervision
