This key role all about providing relationship management support in creating good customer outcomes while helping Kiwibank to be customer's 1^st choice. As a Commercial Associate, you will work closely with the Commercial Manager to manage a portfolio of customers. You will assess and process credit applications for commercial business customers ranging mainly from $1m to $10m TAE. The role is both sales support and process support with a portfolio of customers and prospects who are actively relationship managed.

What are we looking for?  Tā mātou e kimi nei?

Ideally you will have a background in business or commercial banking with some of the following:

• Ability to assess risk and where possible find acceptable solutions for the Bank and the customer
• Strong credit analysis skills to assess financials and prepare credit submissions
• Some understanding of Business/Commercial Banking and its place in the community
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and maintain positive relationships - with customers and internally
• Support the Commercial Manager to successfully manage the day to day running of the portfolio
• Be comfortable working both autonomously as well as part of a team
• Some understanding of key credit policies, processes and procedures is advantageous
