About the role

Watties', a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Production Operator to join our team in East Tamaki, Auckland. As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our range of food products.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure consistent product quality

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain equipment and the production environment

• Adhere to all safety and quality control procedures to meet strict industry standards

• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities

• Assist with inventory management and stock control as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
