The Role

Create and execute promotional campaigns to support audience and revenue growth in the Canterbury market. Coordinating a strategic plan for Mediaworks radio brands and solution based initiatives for our customers.

This is your chance to coordinate promotions and events, both on-air and onsite for our radio stations and clients. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Ensure the presentation of all promotional material is up to date 
• Communicate details of promotional campaigns to our teams as campaigns roll out
• Be the 'go to' person for network promotions and integrations in the region. 
• Update social media pages for our radio brands
• Build relationships with clients, community groups and local organisations
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of all upcoming promotional, sporting and community activities in the Canterbury market
• Engage with our On-Air Announcer, Sales team and General Manager, supporting them to develop promotional strategies.

About You 

• Experience in the radio industry 
• Full, clean driving licence 
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Great communication skills, able to effectively, and diplomatically, deal with a wide range of situations and personalities
• Creative and social media savvy
• Team player
