The Role

We are on the lookout for a Head of Business Applications to join our growing IS team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the business application, including; SAP the landscape and integration services as well as managing vendor relationships, leading a team of professionals, and spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance our business applications and integration capabilities.��

This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, �where you will lead a team of technical leaders, functional specialists, developers, integration specialists, �and support analysts, providing guidance and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

• Identify opportunities for technology �improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business applications.�
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of business applications to support business operations.�
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritise business application �enhancement, and optimisation projects.�
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integration services to ensure seamless communication between systems.�
• Ensure services are resilient, provide maximum uptime, and have planned maintenance windows.��
• Lead a team of Team Leaders, functional specialists, developers, integration specialists, and support analysts providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.�
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.�
• Ensure best practice frameworks in place to support efficient, timely and collaborative delivery of services.

You will provide affective team leadership, ensuring roadmaps are in place to support investment decisions, ensure functionality gaps are closed, and the Information Services team are able to deliver world class business application services.�If this sounds like your experience and your passion then we want to hear from you!

Skills and Experience�

To be considered for this role will require ?�

• Strong and proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Extensive experience with SAP and integration services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels�
• Proven track record of successful vendor management and negotiation
• Able to communicate with IS and wider business at all levels of organisation hierarchy
• Can rapidly adapt and respond to changes in priorities or environment
• Can provide considered and proactive input to operational teams and processes to help foster a culture of support and improvement.�

A bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is highly regarded in this role and you will ideally have 10 years of experience in SAP management and integration services experience, preferably in manufacturing or diary.�
