At Frozen Fresh we make a range of premium frozen and chilled convenience meals that we are proud to serve to you and your families. We are an established locally owned and operated, specialty foods manufacturer based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, Tauranga. Our meals are all made by our people with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and can be found in most supermarkets throughout the country.

We are expanding and are looking to add to both our nightshift and dayshift teams! We would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining our pack team, where we assemble our meals. 

These are full time roles and hours are approximately:

Nightshift:  Monday to Thursday 4pm to 2.30am 

Dayshift: Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm

The role requires you to pack food into trays as per packing requirements and to operate some equipment to achieve that. You will be fully trained, so no experience is necessary – just bring yourself and your great attitude! You do need to be able to follow instructions and consistently work in a tidy and efficient manner to ensure packing is achieved on time and to a high standard.  Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is crucial when measuring and packing our products.  You will be required to happily clean equipment used in this area, move product between the packing room and freezer/chiller, communicate with departments, and any other associated duties to keep our packing room functioning in a timely manner.  It's a fast-paced role so requires someone nimble on their feet and able to stand for the full shift. 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have done something like this before and are comfortable within the manufacturing environment 
• Can lift objects above your head - the role requires lifting heavy/awkward-shaped objects overhead 
• Are a team player – we are more successful when we work together
• Work efficiently, are well organised and self-managing
• Have a high level of fitness, can be on your feet for long periods of time, can lift up to 20 kg, and can handle the cold freezer for small amounts of time, i.e. 5 -10 mins at a time
• Great, efficient cleaner – we operate in an environment where hygiene and cleanliness are extremely important
• Understand that showing up to work for all your shifts is a must. Your team relies on you showing up
• Are a constructive communicator, and fluent in the English language  
• Are flexible and can assist in other departments as and when needed 
• Are agreeable to complete mandatory pre-employment screening, which includes ACC pre-employment checks
