Animates Vetcare is looking for a passionate and caring animal lover to support our Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn clinic. 

About the role:
As a Cattery Assistant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the health and wellbeing of animals in our care; this includes ensuring a high level of hygiene, handling animals, disposing of biological waste and storing hazardous materials appropriately.

This is a casual position, working on an as needs basis, which may include weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate must be available to work over the Christmas and New Years holidays.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for the wellbeing of pets

• Diligence and experience following processes

• Reliability and excellent time management skills

• Excellent communication

• Experience working with animals is highly beneficial, however full training is provided
