Tranzurban Auckland, part of the Tranzit Group, is looking for operations supervisors to join our West Auckland team.

This is a great opportunity to join a new operation, with a brand new EV fleet & driving team in West Auckland and then be an integral part of the ongoing delivery of West Auckland to City public bus services on behalf of Auckland Transport from the end of April 2025.

These are full time roles and our Operations Supervisors work AM & PM shifts to support our operational hours, which will include some weekend work.

You will have your Class 4 licence and experience driving large vehicles.  Experience in providing operational supervisory support will be highly regarded.

We will initially be operating from a temporary site while our new brand depot and workshop is being built in Spedding Road. 

Your duties will include:

• Supervising the day-to-day operations of our public transport services,
• Relief driving as required,
• Ensuring that the right driver has been rostered on the right fleet,
• Support for our team of drivers,
• Support our client relationships by exceeding customer needs and KPI's, ensuring top quality delivery of our services,
• Foster a positive, proactive H&S culture, whilst ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Ideally, you will have:

• A strong customer delivery focus,
• Proven experience in an operational role in a team leader/supervisor capacity,
• A positive, pragmatic and well-balanced approach to problem solving, and decision making,
• Ability to work under pressure,
• Excellent stakeholder partnering skills,
• Advanced technical skills and willingness to adapt to new technology,
• A current class 4 drivers' licence with driving experience,
• A passenger endorsement or the ability to obtain one,
• Transport industry experience would also be an advantage.
