The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with accurate and timely financial processes. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage fixed assets including Capex processing, transfers, disposals, and reconciliations
- Assist with leased asset management and IFRS16 compliance
- Update and forecast cash flow on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Support procurement tasks such as supplier credit applications and vehicle infringement notices
- Upload environmental data and assist with audits and reporting
- Prepare month-end journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Assist with tax returns, external audits, and budget preparation
- Provide backup for Accounts Payable and contribute to financial reporting packages
About You We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in Accounting or a related field
- Solid experience in a large corporate finance environment
- Knowledge of fixed asset registers and IFRS16
- Hands-on experience in cash flow management
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
