Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

The Insights Analyst sits in our Data, Analytics & Strategy business unit which comprises of several specialist teams who work alongside other performance units to design and advance the BNZ agenda.

In this role, you will be responsible for enabling bold decision making through providing the best information to leadership teams across BNZ.

Location- this role can be based in Auckland or Wellington with flexibility to work remotely or from home (WFH) for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop insights for customer and commercial opportunities to support the development of BNZ's strategy and business growth targets.
• Monitor, analyse and comment on BNZ performance, risks, issues and trends affecting business in context of market, current strategic direction and goals.
• Focus on improving accuracy, business focus and actionable insight in reporting.
• Undertake research assignments and model supporting strategic resource development recommendations.
• Input into appropriate action plans based on business insights, trends, issues and opportunities

Ōu Pūkenga | About You

We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience in an analytical role. Preferably you will have banking knowledge and bring a good track record of engaging with a range of different levels within a complex business.

You must be proficient in at least one visual analytics tool: Tableu or PowerBI and highly proficient in SQL.

If you are self-motivated and a quick learner you will thrive in this role!
