We are looking for a super star retail staff and brand ambassador to share the stories of our collections with the rest of the world in this fast paced, unique retail environment.  

About the role

Working largely independently in the Boh Runga Jewellery store at Auckland International Airport, you'll be responsible for creating a warm, engaging experience for customers from New Zealand and around the world. This is a permanent part time position with a minimum of 25 hours per week and a largely fixed roster, offering the security of consistent weekly hours alongside opportunities to pick up additional shifts when available. Our airport store trades from 5am to 10pm and is open every day of the year.

The Roster

Your regular shifts will be:

• Thursday – alternating AM and PM shifts each fortnight

• Friday – PM shift

• Saturday – PM shift
  

Key responsibilities

• Providing genuine, knowledgeable customer service

• Helping customers choose jewellery and gifts

• Working towards individual and store sales targets

• Sharing the stories and meaning behind Boh Runga designs

• Processing sales and maintaining accurate POS records

• Keeping the store beautifully presented and well stocked

• Receiving and replenishing stock

• Completing opening and closing procedures

• Working confidently in sole charge of the store

• Supporting the wider Boh Runga team as required

About you

• Previous retail, sales or customer service experience

• Interest in jewellery, design or New Zealand brands

• Enjoys talking to people and building genuine customer connections

• Strong attention to detail

• Confident working independently and taking responsibility for a store

• Reliable and punctual

• Natural sales ability without being overly sales driven

• Takes pride in presentation and creating a great customer experience

• Comfortable working towards sales targets and participating in team and individual incentives

• Ideally has some flexibility to pick up additional shifts for leave cover and during peak periods
