We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Line Worker to help us produce high-quality meals safely and efficiently. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday on a roster 6:00am–2:30pm/4:30pm. From time to time there may be earlier starts, later finishes and occasional weekend work depending on production demand, so some flexibility is important.
You’ll be on your feet for most of the day, working in a fast-paced environment with a great team.
What you’ll be doing
Food preparation
*Receiving, defrosting, trimming, chopping and processing ingredients to specification.
*Weighing and staging components, following FIFO and allergen controls.
*Completing prep labels, batch IDs and timestamps correctly.
*Cooking & in-process checks
*Operating cooking equipment according to SOPs and recipes (time/temperature/spec).
*Measuring and recording core and holding temperatures; taking corrective action if something is out of spec.
Meal assembly & packing
*Portioning meals to target weights .
*Checking product identity, allergens, coding/label accuracy and visual presentation.
*Sealing and packing product to specification, then staging for chilling or dispatch.
*Cleaning as you go and completing end-of-day cleaning to the required standard.
What you’ll need
Physical requirements
*Able to stand and walk for the full shift, including frequent bending and reaching.
*Able to lift up to 20kg safely.
*Comfortable working in chilled, hot, wet or noisy environments and doing some repetitive tasks.
*Own transport is required to reliably get to and from work for early starts.
Skills & experience
*No prior food experience required – full training will be provided.
*Any experience in food manufacturing or production line work is a bonus.
*Comfortable using basic production equipment (e.g. scales, thermometers, mixers, ovens, kettles, sealers, labellers).
*Basic numeracy and literacy for reading instructions and recording weights, temperatures and times.
