About this work area 

As an IKEA Fulfilment Operations Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Picking, packing and checking of products in line with in-store and/or online customer orders within set KPIs.  

  • Actively contributing to highest goods availability by ensuring accurate replenishment of your assigned area to maintain stock levels and meet the needs of our customers. 

  • Ensuring IKEA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) rules and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and colleagues. 

  • Storing, retrieving, replenishment and internal transportation of stock within the warehouse. 

  • Supporting the wider fulfilment operations team with tasks where required. 

  • For some roles a forklift license is required - this is desirable but not essential 

 

As an IKEA Fulfilment Operations Co-worker, you are or have: 

  • A passion for optimising supply chain and fulfilment operations. 

  • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments to secure the best possible outcome for the customers.  

  • Ability to collaborate yet also be able to work independently. 

  • An energetic approach as you will be on your feet all day. 

  • Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do. 

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

  • A safe mindset, and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including heavy, repetitive lifting. 

 

What you need to know 

  • The work location for this role is our Mangere Warehouse 

  • This is a permanent part-time role with various shift patterns available: 

a. 24-39 hours per fortnight (part-time)

b. 40-59 hours per fortnight (part-time)  

c. 60-79 hours per fortnight (part-time)  

  • The internal title for this role is IKEA Fulfilment Operations Co-worker 

  • The expected start date for this role is 10 August 2025. 

  • The first step of the recruitment process will be an application form. If you are successful to the next step, you will be notified via email.  

  • You may then be invited to watch a short introduction from one of the team and get to video record some questions about why you have applied. Don’t worry – we all get nervous in front of a camera but even if you feel shy, it’s a great way to meet you! 

  • As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates which includes an MOJ police check.   

  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
