The role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and working in a team of youth workers.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role based in New Plymouth. You will be working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. This position is fixed term until June 2025.

About You | Mōu:

We're looking for a savvy and energised youth worker to join our growing service.

You will have:

  • A National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level 4) or National Certificate in Youth Work.
  • An understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people.
  • Full NZ driver's licence.
  • An understanding of Information Technology - Microsoft Office preferred.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in youth work, social work, mental health, and addiction preferred.
