About the role

Anglesea GP Clinic is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Hamilton Central Waikato on a part-time basis. As a General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to our diverse patient community. What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive medical examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

• Providing ongoing care and management for patients with chronic diseases

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the delivery of holistic, integrated services

• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements

• Actively participating in continuing medical education and professional development activities

• Adhering to the highest standards of medical ethics and providing compassionate, patient-centred care

What we're looking for

• Fully registered medical practitioner with a valid licence to practice in New Zealand

• 3 x sessions per week

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a community-based setting

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in primary care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements

• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
