About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team full-time at The Homestore in Newmarket, Auckland.
If you love engaging with people, take pride in presentation, and enjoy working with quality kitchen and homeware products, this could be the perfect role for you. This position includes to work one weekend day as part of your roster.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering genuine, helpful service to customers – from product advice to creating a welcoming shopping experience
Maintaining our store’s clean, stylish look through visual merchandising and day-to-day presentation
Processing sales at the till with accuracy and efficiency
Unpacking deliveries, replenishing stock, and keeping displays tidy and well-organised
Assisting with stock checks and general inventory support
Contributing to a supportive, high-performing team culture
Meeting personal and store-wide sales targets
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and a natural, confident approach with customers
A mature, reliable attitude and willingness to take initiative
Great attention to detail, with pride in keeping the store looking its best
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and helpful
Interest in homeware, kitchenware or interior style is a bonus
Available to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of a full-time roster
