My client is looking for a design-focused professional with strong capability in 12D or Civil 3D. This role is ideal for someone who wants to spend the majority of their time designing and modelling, with scope to expand your responsibilities and project involvement as you grow.
We are open to candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma-level qualifications for technicians. 3–6 years of NZ-based civil design experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Complete civil design work for land development and subdivision projects using 12D or Civil 3D.
Produce and refine detailed design drawings, plans, and models for roading, earthworks, and three waters infrastructure.
Assist with preparation of engineering plans, reports, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate closely with surveyors, planners, senior engineers, and project teams.
Provide technical input during feasibility, concept, and detailed design stages.
Support occasional construction monitoring or field inspections when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related Diploma (technician pathway considered).
3–6 years’ NZ-based experience in civil design (land development or subdivision preferred).
Proficiency in 12D or Civil 3D is essentials
Strong technical documentation skills.
Ability to work independently within a small, high-performing team.
Excellent communicator.
