We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Full-Time Retail Assistant to join our passionate team at Devonport Chocolates in the heart of Wellington CBD. We are looking for an immediate start.

This role is perfect for someone who loves delivering exceptional customer experiences, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a premium New Zealand brand.

Days of Work

• Tuesday - Saturday

As we head into our busiest and most exciting time of year, successful applicants must be available to work throughout the Christmas trading period.

About the Role

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating memorable customer experiences while helping our store look its best. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a busy retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver friendly, personalised customer service

• Build genuine relationships with customers

• Help achieve sales targets through product knowledge and thoughtful recommendations

• Maintain clean, organised and beautifully presented displays

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

• Receive, check and replenish stock

• Support the team during busy trading periods

• Learn new products, systems and processes as the business grows
