C-Tech is a global leader in high-performance carbon fibre components, with manufacturing facilities in New Zealand and Spain. We're expanding and looking for a skilled Draftsperson & Plotter Operator to join our team.

You'll support composite manufacturing, helping produce premium carbon fibre components for various industries. If you’re passionate about composites, precision, efficiency, and engineering design, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Plotter Operation:

• Plan and coordinate cutting requirements with production teams.

• Work with design to create and modify 2D .dxf files for cutting.

• Operate the cutting machine to ensure accurate material cuts.

• Organise and label materials for production.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and testing.

Composite Manufacturing:

• Assist in producing pre-preg carbon fibre components, meeting quality and timeline goals.

• Follow job sheets and ensure production aligns with specifications.

Stock Control & Improvement:

• Monitor and report on stock levels of raw materials.

• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and eliminate waste.

• Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills:

• Experience operating similar machinery is a plus, but not required.

• Strong mechanical understanding and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with part modeling and assembly software like Rhino or Solid Edge. (Not required)

• Good workshop skills and experience.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
