Based at our Ashburton branch, you’ll lead our workshop team to deliver efficient, high-quality service outcomes while building a strong, engaged team culture.
You’ll play a key leadership role in developing capability, maintaining high standards, and strengthening customer and supplier relationships in a busy agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support workshop technicians and apprentices
- Labou efficiency and recovery rate optimisation
- Recruit, develop, and performance manage permanent and seasonal staff
- Conduct staff reviews, regular catch-ups, and development planning
- Drive training initiatives
- Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong customer and supplier relationships
- Ensure health and safety compliance and best practice
- Maintain strong collaboration with workshop operations leadership

What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a people-focused leader who thrives on building capability, improving processes, and creating a positive team culture.
Essential- Minimum 7–10 years senior service leadership experience, including managing teams of 10+ technical staff
- Experience within agricultural and heavy machinery service environments
- Proven financial management capability with full departmental budget responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to improve workshop productivity and operational performance
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Confidence in coaching, mentoring and developing technical teams
- Commitment to health and safety leadership and compliance
