Registered Nurse – Casual Position

Act as a key worker for a group of residents — coordinating and monitoring their multidisciplinary care
Plan and deliver high-quality personal care that supports residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life
Provide clinical leadership and direction to care staff, ensuring best-practice standards
Manage wound care, pain management, palliative care, continence, nutrition, mobility, and all aspects of daily living
Build warm, trusting relationships with residents, families, and the wider team
Work in a safe, positive environment that respects each resident’s unique cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs
A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Availability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends (no night shifts)
The right to work in New Zealand
Excellent English (written and spoken)
A current First Aid Certificate
Good computer skills and strong time management
A warm, kind, honest, compassionate, and patient nature with a great sense of humour
Good level of fitness and a professional, well-presented approach
InterRai training would be advantage
Aged care experience is preferred but not essential — we’re happy to support newly registered nurses who have the right heart for the role.
