We’re looking for an experienced Content Manager with a passion for content strategy and content design, and a hunger for learning to join our Content & SEO team. Our Content Managers are senior leaders in the Content Chapter, reporting into a Content Chapter Lead. You’ll be responsible for leading the content strategy, content design and content governance of our website to create a great shopping experience for customers.
You’ll be joining a fun and supportive team that celebrates unique perspectives, successes as well as failures (or “fail yays” as we like to call them), and learning and development. We also like to have a laugh, share food inspo, and connect together online and in person.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading content strategies to support business goals and help customers achieve their tasks online
Collaborating with UX and product teams to design customer journeys, and defining UX content requirements and messaging strategies to support these
Optimising website content for accessibility and discoverability, including information architecture, wayfinding and search
Reporting on content effectiveness, translating research, data and insights into recommendations to improve the customer experience
Working with our organic SEO agency to identify search strategies to drive quality traffic to the website and convert browsers into shoppers
Developing content models, standards and governance guidelines for web and document these in our Design System
Contributing to CMS enhancements to make content production and ways of working simpler for content creators and publishers
Seeking out ways to improve website content workflow and processes
Supporting the integration of new website tools and technology, and creating training and process documentation
Working with Content Chapter Leads to shape and evolve the digital content strategy
Championing content best practice across the Content Chapter and wider business
