The role:

Our Talent Acquisition team are a pod of experienced Talent Acquisition closely partner with the business unit they're recruiting for and are counselled for their advice, support and operational recommendations for a smooth recruitment process.

This is a varied role with multiple stakeholders across the Bank.  Our candidate and hiring manager experiences are they key to success in this role, so as well as being responsible for business partnering and you'll also need to balance the candidate experience and ensure it conforms to a variety of standards within our complex and regulated environment.

Like the teams we source for, Talent Acquisition at ASB is undergoing transformation around our ways of working. In our move to a more Agile way of working you'll need to balance practical considerations with innovative solutions, be comfortable operating with ambiguity and problem solve with a creative and growth mindset. The role will be responsible from attraction right through to on-boarding for hard to find and critical talent. You will work closely with our People and Culture and People Operations team to create a positive candidate experience from start to finish.

As a starter for success, you'll have demonstrated skills in sourcing top talent, creating and leading happy recruitment processes, driving candidate and customer experience, understanding the ever-evolving world of technology and how to build long-lasting relationships with the people who live in it. We're looking for a deep knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape, global and local insights, your network of talent and ability to promote our incredible employer brand. You'll definitely have in-house recruitment experience, ideally within a complex environment and will be familiar with a variety of recruitment tools and processes including applicant tracking systems, psychometric assessment and background screening. As we continue on our AGILE journey it isn't imperative that you want to recruit in a specific area as we'll be using your talent acquisition and recruitment craft first and foremost rather than expecting subject matter expertise for every role you'll recruit.

You'll have the opportunity to work flexibly and will be joining our team at the start of a new chapter as we transition to more agile working methods, technology enhancements and in an environment where Talent Acquisition really adds value with high quality sourcing and selection methods to provide excellent outcomes for all of our stakeholders.
