About the opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. 

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll provide high quality reporting and analysis support to the business in NZ.

Keys to your success will be the ability to work well in a collaborative and supportive team and preparedness to learn about our large and complex business.  

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

• Accurately update management reports.
• Manage the overseas creditor reconciliation and remittance process. 
• Process local credit invoices, payments and accounts payable close-off.
• Prepare information for inclusion to month end reports (variance analysis, general ledger reconciliation, journals, accruals and PPV reports).
• Provide commercial analysis reports including assistance with customer profitability reporting.
• Prepare Aged stock reporting and analysis including stock control.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting process.

About you 

 What you’ll need:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in a sales, FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• The ability to work as an effective member of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach.
• A willingness to learn.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A degree qualification in accounting, commerce or business.

While not essential, a CA or CPA accreditation (or be working towards) will be highly regarded.
