Based in Rotorua, we're seeking experienced individuals enthusiastic about the opportunity to becoming a key part in the delivery of our contracts spanning the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, and Manawatu regions.
Position: Directional Driller / Locator.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment while strictly adhering to our safety procedures and guidelines.
Execute directional drilling operations with precision and accuracy based on project service plans and specifications.
Monitor drilling progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and alignment with project objectives.
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on directional drilling machinery.
Collaborate effectively with the team to efficiently and safely achieve project goals.
Provide progress reports to the Management team to assist with tracking cost.
Requirements:
Demonstratable proficiency in operating directional drilling equipment. (Either Ditch witch or Vermeer Platforms)
A positive attitude, strong commitment to safety protocols, and a dedication to excellence.
Ability to interpret project service plans and technical documentation relevant to directional drilling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
