Based in Rotorua, we're seeking experienced individuals enthusiastic about the opportunity to becoming a key part in the delivery of our contracts spanning the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, and Manawatu regions.

Position: Directional Driller / Locator.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment while strictly adhering to our safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Execute directional drilling operations with precision and accuracy based on project service plans and specifications.

  • Monitor drilling progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and alignment with project objectives.

  • Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on directional drilling machinery.

  • Collaborate effectively with the team to efficiently and safely achieve project goals.

  • Provide progress reports to the Management team to assist with tracking cost.

Requirements:

  • Demonstratable proficiency in operating directional drilling equipment. (Either Ditch witch or Vermeer Platforms)

  • A positive attitude, strong commitment to safety protocols, and a dedication to excellence.

  • Ability to interpret project service plans and technical documentation relevant to directional drilling.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail.
