PLP NZ, (PLP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of NASDAQ listed PLPC and  is a leading supplier and manufacturer of power fittings and systems within New Zealand and Australia.

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Inwards Goods / Store Person based in our Auckland warehouse and working within the Supply Chain/Warehouse Department.

Responsibilities:

Ø  Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.

Ø  Verify deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.

Ø  Inspect incoming goods for quantity, quality, and damage.

Ø  Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to the Warehouse Manager and Procurement Team.

Ø  Accurately record receipts in the ERP system Epicor.

Ø  Label and identify stock in accordance with company procedures.

Ø  Put away stock into designated warehouse locations.

Ø  Maintain accurate inventory records and stock locations.

Ø  Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes when required.

Ø  Assist in investigating inventory variances and implementing corrective actions.

Ø  Pick and prepare materials for customer orders and internal requirements.

Ø  Ensure orders are picked accurately and on time.

Ø  Replenish picking locations as required.

Ø  Assist with packing and dispatch activities during peak periods

Ø  Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.

Ø  Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment where authorised.

Ø  Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.

Ø  Ensure storage areas are clearly identified and maintained.

Ø  Comply with all PLP health, safety, and environmental policies.

Ø  Use required PPE and safe lifting techniques.

Ø  Immediately report hazards, incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices.

Ø  Participate in safety meetings and training activities.

Ø  Contribute to maintaining a safe workplace for all employees and visitors.

Ø  Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.

Ø  Support warehouse improvement initiatives and projects.

Ø  Maintain high standards of accuracy, productivity, and teamwork

Personal Requirements:

Ø  Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or inventory environment.

Ø  Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Ø  Ability to use computers and warehouse systems.

Ø  Sound communication and teamwork skills.

Ø  Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving stock.

Ø  Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Ø  Positive, team-focused attitude.

Ø  Fork Hoist – Reach, Counter-balance & Walkie

Ø  Dangerous Goods  - Desirable
