About the Role

We are looking for a confident, reliable and customer-focused Retail Store Specialist to join a Newmarket retail store within the vape and smoke-free products category.

You’ll be responsible for creating positive customer experiences, supporting day-to-day store operations and helping customers understand the products available.

The role involves also working independently on weekends, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the store and managing day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Customer Engagement

• Welcome and proactively engage with customers.

• Create meaningful interactions and build strong customer relationships.

• Promote products and provide customers with relevant product information.

• Educate customers about vape and smoke-free alternatives.

• Support customers throughout their product journey.

• Maintain a professional, friendly and welcoming store environment.

Store Operations

• Support the day-to-day operation of the store.

• Assist with general store activities and administrative tasks.

• Support customer orders and deliveries.

• Maintain the presentation, organisation and cleanliness of the store.

• Work with relevant teams to support smooth daily store operations.

• Welcome and support authorised visitors when required.

Stock & Inventory

• Participate in regular stock and inventory counts.

• Complete daily stock checks accurately.

• Support stock ordering and inventory management.

• Assist with stock audits when required.

• Maintain accurate stock records.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare and submit regular reports.

• Maintain accurate operational records.

• Communicate relevant store updates to the appropriate team.

• Escalate operational issues or concerns when required.

• Complete required administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Compliance

• Follow all relevant store policies, procedures and processes.

• Follow responsible marketing and age-verification requirements.

• Ensure only authorised individuals enter restricted areas.

• Maintain confidentiality of business and customer information.

• Follow all relevant guidelines when representing the brand and its products.
