About the Role

As a Team Member, you’ll work across both front and back of house to help create an amazing experience for our customers.

Shibbys is a busy, fast-paced environment, so we’re looking for people who are friendly, reliable, hardworking and happy to jump in wherever needed.

Full flexibility is expected, including availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays and school/university holidays as required by the roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Process customer payments
• Make and prepare frozen yoghurt and açaí
• Prepare fresh fruit, toppings and other food items
• Refill and maintain the toppings bar
• Complete back-of-house preparation
• Wash dishes and keep all work areas clean and organised
• Complete regular cleaning tasks throughout your shift
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures
• Help keep the store running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness and hygiene are extremely important at Shibbys. Everyone on the team is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and well-presented store throughout their entire shift.

About You

You are positive, reliable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

You likely:

• Have experience in hospitality, cafés, food preparation, retail or customer service
• Are confident working in a busy customer-facing environment
• Are comfortable handling and preparing food
• Have high standards when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene
• Have great communication skills and work well in a team
• Are proactive and happy to help with cleaning, dishes and food prep
• Are flexible with your availability, including weekends, public holidays and holiday periods
