About the role

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Truck Driver and Sweeping/Scrubbing Machine Operator to join our team at Bay Sweep & Scrub (2016) Ltd in Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty. This is a permanent full-time role.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operating Class 2 vehicles to transport machines to sites

2. Operating specialised sweeping and scrubbing machines to maintain our clients properties

3. Carrying out daily pre-start checks and minor maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment

4. Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner

5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

6. Collaborating with the wider team to achieve operational goals and business objectives

What we're looking for

1. Valid Class 2 driver's licence with a clean driving record

2. Experience operating commercial vehicles and specialised surface maintenance equipment

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

5. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends as required
