Our InformationServices Group are currently looking for a Senior Database Administrator to addto our team.

This isa fixed term full time position until 31/01/2024.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

In thisrole, you will use your skills and experience to promote good working practiceswithin the team, assess and develop long-term strategic goals for productiondatabases, respond to customer enquires and manage request ques and develop andmaintain administration procedures.

Youwill also design and implement redundant systems, policies and procedures fordisaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protections of dataassets.

Ko wai koe | About You

  • Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Unix, Linux and Windows Operating Systems
  • Sound experience in administrating Microsoft SQL and Oracledatabases
  • Technical expertise and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop a sound knowledge of activities, relevantprocedures, and systems affecting the business.
  • Sound experience with Windows server in a large complexorganisation
  • Scripting, programming background
  • Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS), HL7 messaging andRhapsody a plus
  • To participate on an on-call after-hours roster
